Who runs this

What happens to your documents

For Word and plain text files, parsing finishes in your browser; the file never leaves your device and only the extracted text is sent. For PDFs, images and spreadsheets, what is sent is named on screen before you press the button.

Whatever is sent passes through our server to the AI provider and returns straight to you. It is never written to disk along the way: there is no document store, no document database and no content log.

For spreadsheets the data is not sent at all. The model receives only column names, types and a few sample rows; the calculation runs in your browser.

What we keep

With an account: your email address, your plan and your allowance counter. Without one: only a daily counter that cannot be traced back to you, used to limit abuse.

We do not record what you analysed. We use no analytics tools, no advertising pixels and no third-party cookies.

Where data goes

Content sent for analysis is processed by an external AI provider that makes the service possible; this may happen outside the European Union. The provider does not use it to train models.

Account details are hosted inside the European Union.

Your rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you. On a deletion request your email address, plan record and counters are removed.

Terms of use

Use the service only for documents you have the right to analyse. What you upload is your responsibility.

Do not attempt to disrupt the service, circumvent its limits, or abuse the quota with automated tools. We may restrict access where this happens.

Results are produced by an AI model and can be wrong. Do not base legal, financial or medical decisions on them alone.

The service is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Plans and payment

The free plan asks for no card. Paid plans renew monthly or yearly and are priced in US dollars.

Billing is not open yet. When it is, the payment provider and its terms will appear here.

Refunds and cancellation

You may request to withdraw within 3 days of purchase. For requests within that window, 75% of the amount paid is refunded; the remainder covers transaction and service costs.

Write to contact@cypherscan.app to request it. After 3 days no refund is available.

You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; the allowance for that period remains usable until it ends.
